Hi, Your comments are always most welcome

Gravatar Hello Sue,

I'm from www.Mark-Knopfler.co.uk and I found your June 9, 2006 entry on Mark and Emmylou Harris through a google search.

http://www.choiceforum.co.uk/blo...ns-hot- bus.html

We would like to start a new photo gallery on our site featuring Mark and some of his friends, and I think Mark's fans would really love your picture of the him and Emmylou playing together.

Please email me and let me know if you would be interested in allowing us to post your picture. We would credit you completely.

Cheers,
Amber A

Gravatar Sounds like it was quite an adventure going to the post office. You must be really out in the country to encounter a post office with hours like these. Good luck on Friday with your stove and gas repair.

It must be a bit of a project traveling up the Oxford canal with three boats. When will Tara be delivered to her new owner? Doesn't sound like you are getting very summery weather yet. Hope the rain stops soon.

Best wishes,

Mark

Gravatar Glad to hear your at last beginning to get settled in your new boat. Its been a long time in happening but to get things right first time sometimes you have to go at a steady pace and put up with the disruption. For my sins I have loaded, or shall I say tried to load a new wireless connection. Arrrrrrrh.... but having problems getting it sorted and working 100%. Lets put it this way its nearly been launched a few times out the window.... lol There, now I got that off my chest I feel a tad better....lmao

Gravatar Sue: I wanted to thank you for your Tesco Page. I took all your advice and it worked very well. We flew into Manchester from Atlanta, took the train to Leamington Spa, Taxi to Napton Narrow Boats, loaded our luggage onto the boat and took delivery from Tesco at 4:30 and were off headed to Banbury all just like clockwork. In years past we would have wasted a day finding a shop near the canal, trudging back and forth stocking the boat but this was FANTASTIC. And after traveling for 20 some hours from the States the last thing I want to do is grocery shop. From now on this is how we will stock the boat. Y'all are great!
Thanks Again,
Alan

Gravatar Amber,

I am glad you like the pics. Yes of course, help yourself to any of the photos you like.. my pleasure.

Mark,

Tara is officially handed over at the end of June, in the meantime the new owner is visiting very often, enjoying moving his boat along the canal and getting used to steering her.

The weather is fine Mark.. tis warm whether it be raining or sunny. I don't like it too hot as you know, so it is suiting me at the moment.

James,

Thanks for that.. yes we are getting there with the fitout.. Ah now wifi.. well I just use everyone elses where/when I can
Anyway, you should be practising your cooking shouldn't you?..

Gordon Ramsey must have passed on some masterpiece you could try on the family?!!

Alan,

Facinating.. I am hoping we might pass.. I am also in Banbury. Have you passed me yet? There have been some Napton Boats pass, but when I have said hi to check their nationality they have all been brits!

Well I will hopefully catch you either on your way south or north, I think we will be here a while collecting stuff for No Problem. If not I will email you in a week or so. Have a great holiday!

Sue
