Hi, Your comments are always most welcome

Gravatar Hi Sue and Vic, just managed to log into daughters puter. We are visiting her and her partner to see the new baby....Jack in Australia. I still have to keep an eye on what is going on with 'no problem' even over here. i think that you are having just as nice weather as we are. best wishes mary

Gravatar Hi Sue and Vic.
Glad all is well with you. You have been us to the BBQ, ours is still in the front locker hahahaha.
have a fabulous week.

Gravatar Sue,

Could you drop me an email. I am the editor of Dragonfly (the magazine for the Wilts and Berks Canal Trust).

I would like to use one of your photos if possible (one of Banbury town centre showing the canal).

Gravatar Hi Sue

Just caught your blog when I was searching for a picture of the river Thames we could use for our Wittfest web site. I'm not sure if you know of the Plough at Long Wittenham (on the weir stream) but every year our folk(ish) club The Drones stage a charity music festival. Helen House and Against Breast Cancer are our chosen charities this year. We've got a warm up gig at Clifton Hampden village hall on May 30th and the festival itself is 4th-6th July - do visit the web site holding page (working on it!) to find out more.

Anyway, I'm writing to ask if you would mind if we made use of one of your pictures for our web site - the title image is not so great but we can't afford to buy stock photos.

The image I fell in love with was this one:

I see I'm not the only one impressed with your photographic skills - not sure how much we could afford but if you could let me know what you would want I'll put it to the committee?

Many thanks and may your rivers run smooth
Best wishe

Gravatar Mary and Jo,

Mary, Well congrats on the arrival of Jack.. the world is a small place isn't it now that the internet pulls us all together no matter where we are..

I am delighted that you are enjoying the blog enough to log in and have a look. To be honest Mary, it is superb over here on the River Nene, I hope that you will enjoy the pictures during the summer.

I thought it might be a bit cooler in Aussie land this time of year over there, but obviously not!

Jo, We have had 4 bbq's so far this week, that is two more than the whole of last summer!!

I like where you are at the moment, I shall have to do that later.. enjoy... oh glad Keith got a fix for his tooth!

Gravatar Richard Bellamy and Paul Cleverely, Yep for sure you can use my pics.. Thankyou for wanting to, and thankyou for asking.

Richard,

If you tell me the link to the one you would like I will send you the original larger version so you will have a better quality one.

Paul,

If you send a comment to me and put your email address I can send a better quality one for you to use. That pic was good, nothing was altered, that was as was!

Gravatar Hi Richard and thanks *VERY MUCH* - I;m hoping you might be able to make it to the festival. The Plough does have some mooring available but it gets snapped up quite soon.

The image I was after is this:

http://www.choiceforum.co.uk/np_.../np_...s/oct06/ 105.jpg and my email address is paul@cleverley.org

Thank you again very much!

best wishes
Paul

Gravatar For some reason the last post clipped the url for the image

http://www.choiceforum.co.uk/np_...s/oct06/ 105.jpg

It's mist on the river at Abingdon if that helps?

Sorry!

Best wishes
Paul
