Sue and Vic.
Thanks for a wonderful day yesterday and thanks from Jessica for a lovely week.
Jessica and Molly were absolutley shattered when we got home last night and I'm not entirely sure that I should have been up at 6 this morning to drive to work
See you very soon.

Hi, Sue,
Just an off-topic query; Some time back you featured in a post details of a Polish narrowboat builder.
Do you still have details, and if so, could you e-mail me, as I am intersted in contacting them.
Regards,
Mike Cunningham

Les,
Yes the youngsters are great, I really do enjoying having them. I found a picture in a charity shop not long ago, I bought it, it had an inscription ... "If I had known how much fun grandchildren were, I would have had them first".. Ha how true!
I didn't phone Beccy, we are a bit far away now..
The Shars,
Jessica was absolutely brilliant, she loved being aboard and we loved having her.. my leaving present has written on it.. "To Grandma, I miss you, I wont come back till next year - Jessica".. At 6 years old, that is pretty deep and well written.. well at least she wants to come back eh?!!
Mike,
I don't think I had actual details of any builders in Poland, I think my post was about John Sinclair's narrowboat that was built out there and imported. The joinery work is out of this world, Vic could not see anything out of line or shape. John's narrowboat was bought from The New Boat Company, I am nearly sure it was, but will email him to check.
The boats actually come into this country almost fully fitted I think.. maybe someone else knows different, anyway there is a start for you Mike, you might want to ask your question on the Canalworld forum, you will probably get more information on there..

Hi Sue - great to see some pictures of our old territory! I expect you passed Gailey and maybe Twelfth Night, our old share boat. sounds real fun with the children. Glad Radford bank Inn has improved we have avoided it for years after an appalling meal.
Keep on blogging - Fiona!

Mike, Glad the info was useful
Fiona,
Yep I did see Twelfth Night at Gailey, and I didn't know Radford Bank Inn was bad enough for it now to be improved.
The carvery was superb, and busy, well the place was packed out. But it was good food and the price of £3.50 was unbelievable for as much as you wanted!
