Hello Sue,
Well that was the weekend that was!
We were fortunate our hire boat has a stove so stocked up with coal and a few log's we were quite cosy. We passed No Problem & Moore 2 Life twice , the first time no one home the second passing I believe you were in but we were having fun & games passing No Problem hitting a mud bank in a 33ft boat with empty water tank

I do believe we met at Hillmorton I was the lady in the Bright Yellow Americas cup jacket (time for a new one I think more fitting to the cut) you commented on Hillmorton Locks being like the M1. I agree and much prefer the canal at more peaceful times. Back to out of season cruising for me.

It was a treat though No Problem, Moore 2 life, Valerie & Bones all in one weekend a blog readers dream and Maffi I will be posting a mileage chart on your blog that was no way to treat a lady you know !!
Congratulations on your weight loss, it's time for me to tackle the same but sat at a desk nine hours a day it's not easy

Alex, Well Alex I watched out at all the Willow Wren boats that went by so hoping to see a wave from you, but it was not to be!

I did feel for all the hire boats out there this weekend, a very hardy lot you are I must say.

Where abouts did we meet in Hillmorton Alex I can't remember.. sheeeeesh my memory always seems to fail me at important times. Did I have the dogs with me?

Maybe losing weight is making me lose my memory too!

Hi Sue,

Don't worry it's not your memory shrinking ! I was at the lock just prior to the bistro and bridge 71 and assumed it was you walking briskly towards lunch with out Meg & Lucy Come to that there was no sign of Vic either was he left on No Problem with a low calorie lunch
