Nice to have met you too, Sue and Vic. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip up the Shroppie this year. I'll be pootling about, up and down over the winter and further afield in the Spring no doubt, when I'll keep an eye open for you. The new engine is super. Simon at Norbury Wharf said it would "transform the boat" and it has!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you both,
Jim

hi Sue Vic Lucy and Meg,
I'm a complete novice on the net.
My husband and I would love to do
a canal trip (self driven) down the
canals in the U.K. I was just looking
up the different sites. I came across your blog. We have really been entertained by your photo's etc.
So I just wanted to let you know that
someone in Aussie had seen your Blog.
My husband and I live on the west coast of W.Aust. We live up the road from the Indian Ocean and a small harbour. We do have an Ocean going
fishing boat. (timber,made in 1971)
Would just love to just get a taste
of your lovely trip. Good-on-you!
Best regards to you all.
