Just wanted to wish you an enjoyable weekend. I'm about ready to head off to the grocery store with this week's menu in hand. No more shipments today.
I thought the 5500 pounds for the paint job was completely over the top. I could really get to like the current paint job, with a few personal touches like the name and maybe a few other things, at that rate. Sounds like you may be a bit stuck on the K&A with the situation at Kate Bush's. Are you going to try to leave via the Svern? From Mo and Vanessa's comment it sounds like this could be a bit of an adventure.
Canal boat magazine arrived last night and I was making a stew so I read it cover to cover as things cooked. Very enjoyable.

Are you planning a holiday over here this year? I have a feeling you said you were some time ago.
The Severn is quite an adventure, although I wouldn't mind doing that and going under the famous Severn Bridge, that won't happen this year because we have two boats to take to the Midlands by the look of it. It just depends on when we can live aboard Mk2 really, and that is looking like about the first or second week of March.

Porridge isn't so bad, its the overcooked leeks and mashed potatoes that I find the worst to throw, more seems to land on our deck than in the cut.
Some people do it right, going by the four orange nets hanging in the trees half filled with nuts. No boats around, just bags of nuts high in the trees. Looks funny.
Hey you guys, get yourselves up here, there's no one around and the prices are the lowest we've seen.

The reason the orange nets are still half full of nust is because the birds can't get to them through the microscopic holes that surround them.. only jenny wren can do that.. I tip 'em into my bird feeder..
Humph, yeah maybe we should be where you are right now.. very disgruntled we are down her right now
