N/B Coleen have seen the seal today on banking at Westview Marina with pup.
I asked Alys the other week if she saw the seal to take a photo for me on the tidal stretch. All the times Ays has been on that bit she has never seen it until this year. So looking forward to seeing her photos.
Have no gas! Workmen who are making my front garden into a parking space have cut throught the gas pipe, having it repaired next Thursday! So thankful that I have a mirowave!
The mill moorings you are on is where we spent one Sunday, there was just one other narrowboat, the rest plastic cruisers. Only the people on the other narrowboat would talk to us!!! But then they all had to go back to their marinas on the Sunday evening.

Yes you will remember it does get a bit 'them and us' over in the fens, but it's not everyone and someone in a plastic cruiser shouted over today to tell me to keep the blog going with lots of thumbs up!
Lucy and Meg were not overly impressed with the EA mooring at Houghton Island.. their walk extended to about 100 yards and back!!
