Hearing some of these stories makes me nervous as we ready for our first Narrowboat Holiday.

Hi SUE
Tell KEN/AVRILL not to worry these type of people are rare and 99.9% of us boaters will help them all we can.
That boat has been there a while as i saw it ?? way back, time means nowt to us liveaboards.

Nev, Ken Averill and Les,
For sure Nev it didn't bother me one bit, things like that go right over my head, and if things get out of order I would not be afraid to put someone in the water.. nearly did once up norf!
Like Les says Ken, it is very very rare indeed.. almost all boaters you will find are friendly and helpful, you will enjoy our leisurely way of life for sure.
Les, Yes thinking about it I am sure I have also seen that boat about, but I have not been along these parts for a couple of years!!
