Hi, Your comments are always most welcome

Gravatar Hi Sue, Vic and Lucy,

Well, we're finally out of the warehouse and into our temporary quarters. I got quite a work out lifting and moving all of the boxes. I am so glad this job is finally finished.

Love the roses. I especially like the ones on the outside of the boat where the "No Problem" name will be painted. The cabinets look terrific... very elegant.

I just read on AOL about all of the flooding, and was glad to read your post of the 22nd that you all are in a safe place. Weird weather this summer. We've even had rain along the California coast, which never happens in the summer.

Can hardly wait to see the new canopies on No Problem.

Best wishes,

Mark

Gravatar Hi Sue

I'm a regualr reader - love it, keep up the good work - but this is my first post. When I read this entry, I initially felt very depressed at a) the rude inconsiderate behaviour of boaters (regardless of 'experience') and b) the lemming mentality of those who simply 'must' stay on Tixall Wide. Then I stopped being depressed when I realised that while boaters like you and Vic are about - and the many other blogging boating friends I have found - things will always be alright. Just ignore the eejits. I hope you don't mind if we join you in the land of Eastern Promise when we finally throw off this land-based life!

Gravatar Hi Mark,

I guessed you were moving, thought though that you were moving house, I presume you are moving your business. If that is the case you sure do have a lot of boxes to move by the sound of it!

I am glad you like the roses. No Problem is very long at 67ft and there is a lot of green along the side, so I thought the blocks of roses would just break it up a bit and bring the green out too, it has done both.

Well as you can see the canopies are on the way to being made.. we sure could have done with them lately!

Yes very safe here, in fact the River Trent has gone down quite a lot this evening, but it is 'dan saff' that is suffering.. hundreds of thousands of people are in trouble down there..

Sarah,

Thanks then for your comment, and glad you enjoy the blog.

Oh I don't let those sort of people bother me, it goes over my head, but I do feel I have to say something to people who just pinch locks and dont give a care for others using the canal, maybe I should just say nothing, but that is not me!

There are far more laid back happy boaters than stressed out know-it-alls on the waterways Sarah, we are in the majority!!

Your choices for your cruising is about right, East Anglia is something else..

Sue
