Nice to see pics of the S & W. Is the cottage at Deptmore lock still boarded up? An old couple used to live there with an old BW barge as their only transport. Last time we were there there was no sign of life. MCs was a favourite stop for a bit of window shopping only to get ideas! Have the Challengers moved from Teddesley

No, there is someone living there now.. Vic thought it was empty and took a good look through the window only to see a lady in there reading a book!!
There are no Challengers here Fiona, in fact there are hardly any hire boats here either, I think there are just three of them, so dunno what is going on.
