Hi Sue,
I think your mystery duck is a goose. Even though it's off in the background look how much bigger it is then the Mandarin in the foreground. The head markings certainly make it appear to be a Canadian Goose, or one of it's sub-species.
We leave for our Narrow boat Hoilday 4 weeks from today.
Happy Birthday!!

Hooray Got an ST3 for my NB and a good one to boot, so 3 times more power than the original, and a direct drop in replacement, so a potential of 60 shaft HP.
I was somewhere near you on the way back. I had to call in to Yarwell mill to see a chap. Guess you will be there in a short while.
We have decide on a new name for our NB Retreat so just need to know the best way of renaming it to avoid "bad luck"

Kevin, Hey well done you yet again! You might need that power from Salters to Denver too!
Well the best way is while she is out of the water. But I guess after her bottom was worked on she is back in.. try to beach her on a bank and get the front end 'out of the water' and crack a good can of lager on her bow?
That should do it!
