I hate having to be the one to move on when that (drugs) happens. Dh and I had been on a great walk and were looking forward to our picnic lunch back near the car but just as we arrived two cars turned up and looked very suspicious so we moved off.
The Mongomery Canal looks good now. we will have to make time for it next time.

I just love the lift bridge photo - doesn't that look a divine place to be?
Good to see photos of W-I-P also, thanks.

Hi Jane
Yes we enjoyed the canal, lets hope that the lock keeper Colin gains control of that car park. I have no doubt he will, he seems very proud of his patch.
You will enjoy the Montgomery, very river like, just as we are used to eh?
Martin,
Nice area for sure, there are some long term moorers just past that lift bridge on the right, a lovely patch they have there..

Hello, Sue. Really enjoyed reading your blog. We're on our way to Llangollen for the winter. We moored at Weston Arm in March and noticed exactly what you mention. Even more worrying was the fact that relations had come to see us in their motorhome and were parked there overnight. They felt very uneasy.
Have a good winter.

Hi Angela,
Yes I read from your website that you are wintering on the Llangollen this year again. There are not that many moorers for the winter this year so the lengthsman was telling me, just 4 or 5 of you at the moment.
I did actually inform the police about that incident, they are going to monitor it, but I have now heard that the drugs thing has been going on for years at that particular place, certainly a no go area for narrowboats I fear.
