Hi Sue and Vic
Your right that the boat in the winding hole is in the way. Your photo makes it look like there is plenty of room but it can get very busy at certain times when the hire boats are winding to return to Napton and it becomes a bottleneck. I can certainly vouch for it as I fell in there trying to re-float after grounding there avoiding the moored boat. Add to the photo a few boats moored at the water point opposite the winding hole, a boat stationary under the bridgehole blocking the way and Omega coming along wanting to go through the bridgehole and you can imagine how little room there is. Fortunately I only got a ducking but it could have been a lot worse. Let us know what BWs response is.
Regards
Val

Val, Now that does sound hectic! Sorry to hear that you got a tad wet too. There must be some reason why that boat is moored there, maybe a long standing arrangement? The house there is being done up.. he won't want us pulling boats round in his garden!
I'll let you know what BW say.
