Sounds like an interesting day Sue. Eeherm... the greyhound and the donkey? Never seen a 4mph greyhound before !

Gravatar Hi Sue,
I've never commented before but I lurk almost on a daily basis especially since you've been on the K&A. We have a share in the Ownerships boat Sonata which has arrived at Devizes for her first visit to the K&A and we will be there for our 1st week next Friday 4th May. Sorry we will miss you at Devizes as I would have liked to see NP2 in the flesh as it were! as she looks billiant from your photos.
Margaret

Gravatar Hi Sue & Vic

Gravatar The new NP look lovely. I'm looking forward to seeing my first bluebells next month when we come over for a visit, hope there's lots to see along the Caldon Canal!
Not sure if we'll be able to have a walk along the K&A while we are over but there are quite a few geocaches along there I'd like to do. I'll keep a look out for you!
Happy travels.

Gravatar Martin.. Teehee yes it was a bit like that when Vic saw what I had in my hand!

Well after being a continuous cruiser for over 3 years now.. 4mph is like going like a greyhound.. you wanna see me when I get into a car, I have to put tape over my mouth and shut my eyes at the speed I am whooshed along!

Margaret,

Yes I have seen Sonata moored outside the marina at Devizes, in fact we were moored against it last week.. well I hope you have a good week.. its lovely now that the towpaths are hard again after all that soft mud over the winter months, a completely different place now.. You must be off to Caen Hill then as you didnt mention maybe catching us up to the east.

Maureen,

Yes off on our way to Braunston, although this weekend we have some people coming to view the boat in livaboard trim!

I must admit, the best way to see a livaboard boat is as a livaboard with all the clutter and bits and pieces in situ!.. Clutter? Clutter? ... Nah, just homely living!

Jane,

Well I hope the bluebells are still here.. mind they will probably be finished, but there will be plenty of late spring to enjoy.

There are plenty of caches along the Kennet and ASvon Canal, almost one at each lock.

We have found all of them except for one at Cobblers Lock, and I looked twice now.. but I am going to walk back there this afternoon, I am determined to find it!!

Sue
