Sorry to hear about all of your problems with the gearbox. I hope this gets fixed soon and that you will be on your way.
Our grand daughters have been asking when they will get to go to England to go on the narrowboats. We couldn't do it this year for various reasons. But next year we're on for sure. I'll be more comfortable with it next year because the girls will be big enough to help a little with the boat and the locks.
