Burston is one of our favourite villages - it is the quintessential English village with the village pond in the middle with all the small cottages around it. Some recent developments are risking spoiling the feel of the place. The pub (The Greyhound) serves good food and the staff are really friendly. It’s a place we plan to stop at whenever we head that way. Nice rural moorings as well.

Nev, For sure it is a lovely village, and the villagers are very friendly. There is a big huge house almost finished which overlooks the canal on the southern side of the bridge.. it does look rather regal, a modern day manor house I would think!
