Hi Sue
We're just back from a week on Debdale, and I'd been hoping you'd be heading up through Braunston as we came down on Thursday. I would have been great to have bumped into you! I really was cold (particularly on Thursday), so I don't blame you for staying put. The hedges have been beautifully laid in Braunston too, although as they're now about a third of the height they used to be the road is suddenly visible where it wasn't before.

Adam,
Ah what a shame, it would have been great to see you. Yes I do believe that the hedges have been laid neatly, but I have also heard horror stories about trees being chopped down by the Mill House! I have also heard that rapid tree preservation order have been put in place to stop more being chopped down.
I will find out when I get there no doubt. Hope to see you the next time we pass.

I remember holding my breath going under that collapsing bridge!

Carrie, What I can't understand is, why on earth are they not doing anything about it!! I wonder if they are actually waiting for it to crash down. It surely will if boats keep hitting it, lets hope it doesn't cause injury.
