We walked up to the White Horse from there/ Footpath was posted and went diagonally across a field planted with waist high corn (or something)Great memories.
Also love the pub but not the landlady! long story!

Well I expect I will take a walk up there before the winter is over Jane, I was tempted today, as you can see by the pic, the weather was perfect, but we had to pull the pins and get back to Pewsey..
The landlady hasn't changed, but I see her boat has gone and is now moored here at Pewsey.. Although the landlady has always been in te put on all of my visits to it, I don't ever recall speaking to her!

Regarding blocked footpaths.
