Hi Sue and Vic,
So glad to hear you found a sign painter. Will look forward to seeing the "No Problem" painting on your narrowboat. Hope you enjoyed seeing the Theatre Company at the Anchor Pub. I hope it was a great evening.
We're busy here selling dolls and hope to get caught up one of these days. Everyone is well. Went to see our son this weekend. He brought his new girl friend and she was a very nice young lady. Enjoyed their company a great deal. Back to work.
Best wishes,
Mark

Hi Sue and Vic,
Very much enjoy reading your blog. Also own an ex BP Duchess class called Robin and I was very interested in your intention to get the prop changed as I also believe that Robin is under propelled. I'll be watching out for your update in October after you have it changed.
Also would appreciate any info you have regarding the stove you have in stalled at the front of the cabin as we intend to install one in the future. Were moored at Higher Poynton on the Macc so look out for us. Just completing a repaint as it is long overdue.

Hello Bob,
Yes, the tick-over on No Problem is really deadly slow, so I know we can 'prop up' a bit without upsetting moored boats.. going to a 17" prop with a 12 pitch, should be about right, although I would have liked to have gone to 18" for the rivers, we have been advised not to do that..
The stove is smashing, it's a bit bigger than the one we had in our old boat (Villager), this one is a Morso Squirrel from Ely Chandlers.. http://

A superb company to buy from and their prices are extremely good.. Helpful people too, nothing is any bother to them.. it takes a good sized log and burns small anthrasite (sp) really well.. Good controls for hot burn or medium. Would recommend. Hope that helps..
