Gravatar My second grade daughter's Brownie troop visited Coldstone Creamery and Libby Lu and got iron-on patches from both places. Leaving aside the question of what they could possibly learn from either of these establishments, I feel the same way about putting the patches on the Brownie vest so she can advertise for them. But, since I'm sick to death of being the Queen of No, I've just conveniently not gotten around to ironing on the patches. She never forgets anything but maybe the dog will get hold of them.

Gravatar Great post Sue. I used to drink the "pink" koolaid. When the blinders came off, I felt like a complete jacka**. I'm smarter than that, why didn't I see the warning signs. Truth was, I did see them, I chose to ignore them. I am grateful DAILY that I got out of the cultish environment that exists in the MLM's. ALL OF THEM. Not one "direct sales" company is worth investing your time and energy in, and I certainly wouldn't wallpaper my child's sports uniform with it either! They are desperate for bodies to fill their pyramid with. The "direct sales" business is a revolving door and they are constantly on the prowl for new "recruits/sales associates/victims". I need to shut up now. MLM's piss me off. I'm going to go make an iced latte and calm down.

Gravatar Another shining example of why you are my HERO, Sue. How many people let things like this happen to them without even thinking it through?

You Go, woman!
