Uma,
This is a very authentic Marathi dessert. Try it. You will love this easy, breezy and sweet avatar of sorakaya

I have wanted to try this for long time now Anjali. When I posted ridge gourd kheer in my blog, a lot of bloggers were mentioning about this halwa. It looks so easy to prepare, will definitely prepare this one of these days.
Off Topic:
I'm very happy that you like the tab format. It was totally my husband's idea.
The other day you had asked about recipe using beets. Did you check the previous post, where I have prepared a traditional south indian curry using beets.
Another question, have you registered with TOI RSS feed? I don't see your blog details there. Go to http:connect.sailusfood.com and register, so your posts will be updated there as you update your blog and you will have lot more visitors, which will increase the traffic to your spice website too.
