I am just loving my morning walks. Its beautiful, quiet and most importantly, I get time to be with myself 
In the beginning, I used to plan my day during my walks and use the time to think abt stuff. But I have recently discovered that humming a song, watching birds, and thinking abt nothing is much more relaxing and peaceful I start my day on a much happier note.

Girl... you make me want to start going for morning walks! The way you described it seems much more appealing at the moment than my gym!
Listening to an mp3 player would also be a great idea! Humming is a little stretching it too far for me! LOL

Anjali, it's long time since I've heard from you. So I wanted to check if everything was ok. Also very happy diwali for your family.
That's a very easy recipe for coconut burfis. Actually I have not tried much of Indian sweets because of the sugar/jaggery syrup consistency. We have to get it right or else the end product will either become like halwa or will become rock hard. I feel that preparing certain kinds of Indian sweets are difficult than baking. I will try your method very soon.

Anjali, this is an excellent recipe. We are celebrating Diwali in my son's pre-school and I wanted to take some sweets with me. So I asked my mother to follow this recipe to prepare burfis and it has come out very well. My mother did only one change though, she took half the quantity of dessicated coconut and ran it in the mixie and kept the other half as it is and the texture was so good. I'm sure the kids in the school will love it.
