Susan, hopefully, your article will help the accused boys. I don't know what the answer is to the injustice the women's movement has caused. Will our children ever grow up like I did in the 50's when a rude remark in the school hallway to a girl was returned by a well-planted slap to the face?

I remember the den mother of a group our sons were in telling me that the principal and teacher recommended her son be seen by a doctor because he according to the little girl, pinched her butt. The den mother I worked with was stricken.

Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words regarding the ongoing case against the boys in Oregon. I appreciate you taking the time to comment.

You are quite eloquent and ought to consider having a website to record your thoughts. While I don't have children...I am greatly concerned for our children as well. The destructive forces unleashed by the 60's and 70's is catching up with us now.

I find it incomprehensible that a district attorney doesn't understand the difference between criminal activity and kids just playing around. We've made it criminal to be a boy these day. Thankfully there are people out there like James Dobson who pounds home the message about raising boys. Unfortunately...not enough, nor the people that need the message most, will hear it. But we've got to keep trying. Those kids...all of them...not just Cory and Ryan, at the most should have been called into the principal's office, talked to and had an hour or two of detention. A simple apology those any girls or boys who were offended should have sufficed.

He has taken this story to heart and has been trying to raise the funds so the boys can defend themselves. http://dennisprager.townhall.com/ Hopefully they will be acquitted. Lord willing there will be justice in this case. However an enormous amount of damage has already been done.
