Don't know about you Suzie, but a government that will not allow itself to be investigated is called a dictatorship!! Hate to say it, but both you guys and us Canuckleheads need another revolution, ala the French of the 1700's. I'll give them some "cake to eat"!!

They are sure running scared. Seen a couple of these guys try to spew out stuff on FOX, and that Judge(not sure how to spell his name), put them in their place right away.

Justthinkin, thanks for commenting. Yeah, they are protecting their prerogatives or worried about losing a few.
ABF- Yeah, I saw that on the BIG STORY with John Gibson. Same thing happened yesterday too.

I understand the constitutional concern that members of congress have over this. Though I wish they would demonstrate a bit more respect for separation of powers next time one of them wants to investigate the Executive Branch.
But it's just a shame that our guys stepped all over what was the real story here, the obvious corruption and law breaking by Congressman Jefferson.

This whole situation is pathetic. The groupies on the hill are acting like a bunch of babies, republican and democrat both. I am not going to comment on the President sealing the files for 45 days, but… in and of itself that should spell it out for you.
I think I have said this elsewhere, but all the hill was yapping about on the left months back was the need for a warrant. Listen to them talk about "all the NSA needed to do was get a warrant." It was the cure to all ails.
THEY GOT A DAMN WARRANT AND NOW THAT ISN'T ENOUGH?
A warrant signed by a federal judge said the search could be performed. I contend that since proper warrants were requested and granted in is the Legislative and Executive Branch stepping on the Judiciary. And spare me an attempted lecture on “Executive Privilege.” Yes, ok… yes, I happen to feel the President has more privilege that the hill.
All I know from this is I am going into politics. I can drive drunk, raise my own salary, and store illegal materials in my office with no worries of them ever being touched. Cool. How is it possible I am disenchanted with a republican majority? Something is seriously wrong.
Although, I note to those wanting to bash me and republicans. It is the democrats that are not doing anything to kick Jefferson out of Congress or even off his committees. YES! They can, not just Pelosi “asking him” they can throw his ass down.

LMC,
Take my word for it. You don't want to read more about it. It can only lead to pulling hair out.
