Ok, Olivia and I just watched that together and I don't know what was better- seeing 'Minnie' or seeing Olivia lighting up watching her. Apparently the ABC's are funny stuff.
We are so watching that again.
I have three children with the youngest still pooping in his diaper. The day I am free of poop in a diaper I will climb the highest hill and proclaim my freedom from Pampers to All The WORLD.

Bumper just sat here and watched it along with me and she was absolutely fascinated. She is used to watching herself on my screen but the look on her face for this was "who is this little person that seems to have the language of the taller folk?" or something like that. I'm so happy that Leukemia has had the rug pulled from under it's ugly feet and that Doug is doing well.
The girls still ask about Juniper and I tell them she moved far away. I'll show them the video when they are home this afternoon.

Juney is simply wonderful. I love how each rendion od her ABC's gets longer and longer until she makes it to the end....and that the last version is so exciting that she simply has to dance. What a terrific little girl.
I think the alphabet song is second only to the alphabet dance. Wonderful!

Great news about Doug! And about Juniper. She's not even as old as Maggie, HOW are you accomplishing this? We keep asking Maggie if she wants to go on the potty and she cries "NO POTTY, NO POTTY" like we keep snakes in there or something. It is funny how conversations change when you have a kid, isn't it?

i have no idea what brand juniper is wearing, but the pnut has sparkly footie pj's that are made by carters. you can get them at kohls (if tyou can still find them) or carters stores, where they are being cleared out for 5 bucks right now.
That video should have at least as much curative power as chemo, if not more. Still praying for Doug, thanks for sharing the good news update.
Congrats on the poop! I just spent the past hour drooling over the Mahar Dry Goods site, then perusing their book list (and excitedly finding out that J. Otto Siebold has at least 4 other books than we've read, and one of our local libraries has them - I can't wait!!). I am pretty convinced Charlotte will be pooping in diapers until she is 20. We are complete failures as parents as of yet.
What a talent! In the bathroom and on camera. The "Sssss" stutter is my favorite part, and her recognition of the magnets, like "These, these, these are the ABCs!" She's wonderful, as I'm sure you know.

I got to watch it, finally - she is adorable!! That made me so nostalgic for when my boy was little like that and all words were his own little amalgamation of sounds. I love how she keeps checking to make sure you're still filming her - what a ham. : )
