All the parents I've met there are nice and not obnoxious. But we're still in the wee baby category and haven't gone through the dehumanizing playground exposure phase.
I just came across this - being the mom of a 2 year old who has encountered similar playground weirdness and psychotic kids with non-attentive parents, I've struggled with what to do. Now I know.
