No similarity there, though I have often thought 3 yrs would be a really nice split between siblings. Many congrats to you. My children are 2 years and 9 mos. apart -- keeping me busy. I'll pass on what a coworker of mine told me: "Children and math don't add up. Twice the kids equals five times the work, but 100 times the love." Corny maybe, but true, true, true in my experience. The best part for me is seeing how different they are (I've got a 6+ girl with an almost 4-y-o boy). I am still surprised by how strong and definite their personalities are at such a young age. You can really look forward to that -- to seeing what other gene combinations come forth -- among all the other good stuff. Cheers!

Congratulations are definitely in order. I, too, got that 'mommy itch' when my second one was about two. They are not babies anymore and it can trigger one to crave a baby. My youngest was born exactly two weeks shy of her older sister turning three. The spacing is AWESOME! You'll have a lot of fun and, most likely, an enthusiastic 'diaper fetcher' and 'baby entertainer.'
