Gravatar I'd love me some babylegs!! My daughter HAS to choose her own clothes now and that means a dress everyday...so some extra leg protection comes in handy.

Thanks!
- SBL

Gravatar Wow - I enjoy your blog just for the writing, thoughts and pictures. Having the chance to "win" free babylegs for my girl - awesome. Please put us down for your lotto. Thanks.

Gravatar oh how I love the babylegs and juney's style. please include me in the raffle!

Gravatar I'm an avid Sweet Juniper reader (I'm a fund-raising writer who lives in Iowa City), and I've e-mailed Wood a few times (about the breastfeeding/weaning and potty-training posts). My daughter, Ava, is two-and-a-half--and tiny like Juniper--and she would love, love, love a pair of Baby Legs, if we were to pass your random-selection process.

Best,
Leah

Gravatar Babylegs please! (Too bad you didn't get a case of those jumpersuits instead...)

Gravatar Myrna and I would love us some stripey babylegs.

Gravatar I love the babylegs! Please include me in the raffle.

Thanks!

Gravatar Those are the most awesome, cool, baby accessory I think I might have ever seen! I would love to see Mirabelle in some, so please count me in for the drawing! Thanks

Gravatar The only thing cuter than naked chubby baby legs are striped chubby baby legs. Include us please! Have loved your writing for a long time, and got your graffiti ABC book awhile back. Sorry it's taken this giveaway for me to comment.

Gravatar I'd love my little one to look as cool as Juniper.

Gravatar I would love to be a part of the random selection process. I was bound and determined to have a daughter that wore dresses and put her hair in piggy-tails.
My daughter, however, has worn 2 dresses in her life (23 months) and rips out every rubberband thing I put in her hair.
Baby legs run the borderline of ADORABLE and ROWDY.

Gravatar We will soon be moving to a colder climate, so some babylegs would definitely be useful! Please include me in the drawing.

Wood's right you know? You're going to need another baby to dress in that jumper! =)

Gravatar I'd love some baby legs for our gender-undetermined October arrival!

Gravatar need some baby legs here!!!!!!

Gravatar Ooh! I'd love babylegs!

Gravatar Oooh! Free stuff!

Gravatar We've been contemplating the babylegs for a while, but haven't been able to pull the trigger. But those adorable striped ones, and free? Can't beat that!

Gravatar How generous of you! I'll pipe up too, please count me in. I flock to stripes like a magpie to tinsel.

Gravatar Love your writing and photography on this blog, especially the pics of Juniper with graffiti. I'd love to be included in the Babylegs random draw!

Gravatar They're beautiful. I'd love some for the munchikin on the way. . .

Gravatar Wait, how randomly are you choosing? The kind of randomly where it'd be better if I said something clever? Hmmm, actually, how about a picture of the intended victim? Because then at least even if I don't win, you get to see some more thrift-shop finds.

Gravatar Oh how I love the babylegs. Sadly, we have no stripey babylegs at our house. Help a little girl out!

Gravatar No way - I was just looking for that pattern!

Okay, not really but I would love some for miss Ruby.

How nice of you to share!

Gravatar Delurking to say I love -- love! -- the babylegs. Assuming it's not too late to jump on the bandwagon, it'd be great to have a set over here. Thanks!

Gravatar That jumper is so incredibly cute on Juniper. It's so sad that she is outgrowing it.

Those checkerboard Vans are dope.

Gravatar I can't resist free stuff as it is, but Baby Legs? Count us in please!

Gravatar As a native Detroiter (yes, born and raised on the west side), now upstate NY transplant, I would be honored if you would share the babylegs with my 2 yr old daughter "Z." Perhaps even her 2 week old brother can use them later as well?

Your blog is bookmarked so I can read and see about my beloved city. Thank you for keeping me in touch.

Gravatar You know, I love thrift store shopping, but around here the treasures aren't as good, apparently. I'd love to find a jumper like that.

And yeah, count me in for wanting some Babylegs, too. I've been wanting to try them, and with another baby girl due in the next 7 weeks, we'll have two to dress up.

Gravatar Please please include me in the lotto. Would they fit a tall 3 year old? Would you post to Australia?

If you see Jack White tooling around the street give him a big indie mummy pash for me

Love Beck

Gravatar Yes, yes, yes, I would very much like to win babylegs.

Your 'chink in my armor' comment sounds promising. Are you two ready to give Juniper a sibling? Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! (Or girl, either way...)

LOVE the checkerboard vans, by the way. My kids each have several pair (my husband was married in them. Poser.)

Gravatar i've long admired juniper's babylegs and in the middle of your gorgeous photostream thought to myself, that's it! i'm getting me some baby legs!

only to come back to finish reading your post and find you are offering up a pair.

yes! please!

looking though the SF pictures, it was pretty clear that juniper had grown quite a bit. it's happy-sad, isn't it?

Gravatar You will be crushed when Juniper chooses her own clothing. Perhaps Wendell would wear the jumper.

Gravatar Babylegs babylegs babylegs! Thanks, Dutch.

Gravatar Hello,

We were just going to try and buy some baby legs, until a few last minute expenses came up and we had to put it on the back burner. That's life, right?

We would love to have a pair, just like Juniper!

kristing104@mac.com

Gravatar Maybe I'll have a baby, just to get some Babylegs.

Gravatar I've been reading your blog for a while now and love how Juniper manages to pull of the baby legs with so many different outfits. I'd love to have a pair for my daughter.

Gravatar I can't pass up a chance at another pair of babylegs for Xan. He just looks so cute in them, see: http://blahdiblog.blogspot.com/2...03/ stripes.html

Gravatar Oh, babylegs!!!

They are so cute and that style is so perfect with that little jumper!!!

Alice

Gravatar Well how can I pass up a chance to win some swag. Juniper is adorable as always in her humper. I hope you let wood talk you into having another. You all make adorable babies.

Gravatar Hey! I DO NOT want babylegs. That makes me the odd one out in this company.

But they'd look pretty funny on my five-year-old and nine-year-old SONS.

Juniper's adorable.

Gravatar Ok, I may be the only one who is commenting who does not crave being in the drawing. I love them but I don't think they'd fit me. Or if I could literally or figuratively pull them off. I just wanted to say how glad I am that you posted on the Blue Jumper. I was looking at the pictures this morning and thought that I couldn't believe it still fit. Perceptive, aren't I?

Gravatar Consider me formally interested in a pair of those Baby Legs. I might donate them to a worthy pregnant lady I know. Or I may just put them in a closet and keep them all to myself. I do, however, think they would go smashing with some sparkly red Wizard of Oz shoes I already have stashed away...

Gravatar Logan wants a pair. And an identical jumper if you have one in his size.

Gravatar shit, I'll sew him one. but only if he promises to wear it with one of those beanies with a whirlygig on top.

Gravatar Oh, a raffle...I'm sweaty. I never wins these, but yet I enter. I would love to see if my Tatum could look as adorable in Babylegs as Junie does. She is such a sweet little thing, and I have FOUR daughters! And two sons, but they'd look weird in the Babylegs. Not that I won't try. Ha!
Found you through MelissaS a few months ago...and actually cried on the doggie posts. Love your writing style and I'll be back every day, just like usual even when I don't win, because I never do.
(please pick me

Gravatar i'm all in for the baby legs.

i LOVE the way you dress you kid. My kid looks like a mistreated dork when I try to dress her in thrift store finds. I'm just not that cool.

I try, though

Gravatar oh man, those are cool, i definitely want some.

(love the site)

Gravatar Though I don't think anyone can pull off Babylegs as well as Juniper ... I'd be happy to try ... count us in, please.

Gravatar ooh babylegs please! they are awfully cute, but sort of spendy. my 3-year old is and always has been super-opinionated about her clothes... as soon as she could grunt and point to indicate preferences it has always been PINK and RUFFLES and FLOWERS... things her grandparents happily supplied even if her moms wanted somethig a little... different.

Gravatar Baby legs rock!

Gravatar Dagny wants Babylegs.

Gravatar me me. i love free stuff.

Gravatar babylegs, really??? please oh please!!! my casey would love some, well actuially i would love some and i would put them on her chubby little legs... so thank you , yes and did i say pleeeeeeease? maine momma

Gravatar i would love a pair of those cute babylegs.
bethanypitman@gmail.com

Gravatar Hi...I love to read your blog. I would love to be included in the babylegs giveaway. Thanks.

Gravatar I've been spending Charlotte's college fund on babylegs after reading about them on your site. Please, help restore a week of my daughter's future college career and choose me!

Gravatar Hi. Would love some babylegs! I think my 2.5 year old might be a bit too - um - portly for them, but his sibling is due to arrive in October. Cheers.

Gravatar Ah, I love the blog.
Our stripey multi babylegs also got devoured and I surfed every possible store to find some more...why did they discontinue the cutest ones (besides polka dots that is)...so, sign me up for the give away please.

Gravatar I don't know how those lovely stripes would look on a boy, but I solemnly promise to keep my eyes out for a bigger jumpersuit for Juniper. You just never know, right? Or maybe one of your crafty blogger readers will get inspired with some blue polyester...

Okay, count me in. I don't think they are too girly at all!

Gravatar Do these fit the chubbiest baby legs you've ever seen? If so, our little one would love a crawling accessory to keep up with the kitty.

Gravatar I don't have a baby, so I don't need any babylegs, but may I just say how much I love the pic of Big Girl Juney with the graffiti and the screaming? It's one of my favorites. Just so you know.

Gravatar We don't REALLY need them. We'd take them, though.

Gravatar We'd love another pair...we only have one and they're not stripey!

Gravatar I can't resist, they're too cute. Aww heck, throw my name in the raffle too.

Gravatar Jumping in for my chance for some babylegs love!

I feel a little silly for being sad when my girl grows out of something I loved to dress her in - glad to know I'm not the only one! I'm not sure I could resist squeezing her into that blue jumpersuit despite the protests.

Gravatar Love your site and photos! I would love to be considered for a pair of babylegs for my son. Thank you for your generosity.

Gravatar the possibility of free babylegs? count us in! juniper always looks so cute in hers!

Gravatar I think this is my first time to comment, although I have been reading Sweet Juniper since your roadtrip. I love the blue jumper, and would love babylegs too!

Gravatar I have triplet toddlers, two boys and a little girl (Lily) with a trach and a feeding tube. She also happens to be incredibly adorable with curly hair and huge blue eyes. She would look super sassy in some babylegs!

Gravatar Hey there.

I have spent so much time in these last few weeks quietly clicking through your Flickr pictures, and digging your family and your adventures and Juniper's awesome clothes! I have also been seriously coveting those leg warmers, and had just assumed you all had made them yourselves. Having given up all hope of Charlotte ever experiencing the awesomeness of leg warmers because I am decidedly not someone who can make things with fabric, I am surprised and delighted by the leg warmer bonanza up in here!

Count us in, and thanks for sharing the wealth of cuteness,
Beth

Gravatar Oh! I'd love to 'win' something--anything!--of yours, especially in infamouse babylegs. I can't decide if I'd like to keep them for when we get pregnant ('trying' this summer! wahoo!) or if I'm feeling generous and will just give them to my niece. Hmmmm.

Gravatar Juney's hair is SO long! What a big girl. If you're handin' out free Baby Legs, count me in. I love 'em.

Gravatar My 19 month old is a disciple of Juniper's style -- love the lack of cartoon characters and cutesy slogans. Her chubby little legs (that still have a little roll, even though she's walking and running) would look so adorable in them. Love your stories.

Gravatar first, instead of joining the raffle for babylegs, could i join the raffle for a picture of logan summers and families in the jumpsuit/leggies/beanie instead?
second, i knew that was your girl in those babyleg ads- i'd know that blue jumper anywhere on the web!
third- even though i am commenter 4,973, for your readers who are in love w/ the legs, you can make a set out of ladies knee highs pretty easy- that's how we've adorned the pnut's legs for the fall/winter/spring. a quick search on flickr even has step by step instructions.
fourth, ask your mom (it's where i got ours and i never would have known otherwise) for a mesh bag that she laundered her pantyhose in and toss the legs (and socks) in there when you wash them, and they'll never get lost or chewed again. assvice? why yes, and you're welcome.
finally, i'd like to share my joy/sadness on having a tiny munchkin who is finally starting to sprout- this girl has saved me some serious cash, being able to wear the same outfits in opposite seasons. but i can see her starting to get some height and weight, finally, and will be sad to see the 9 month and 12 month sizes go! (she's a 23 lb 20 month old!) we are probably going to start trying this summer too. so there you go, wood, you seem to have signed up a whole army of ladies to drink the kool aid!

Gravatar my little girl (16-months) has two pairs of babylegs and they're the best things in her wardrobe. these stripey ones are cool and we'd love to have a pair! please enter us in the drawing, thanks!

Gravatar Babylegs please.
I find so few people who understand the call of our crumbling urban/manufacturing past. I want my son to see it as a thing of beauty, like the ruins of Rome, and I appreciate the approach ya'll take with your Juniper.
Love your alphabet book too (though my son immediately slobbered it, is that appreciation?)

Gravatar I would like a pair for my nephew, Jonas. Unfortunately baby legs weren't evented when my children (now 8 & 10) were younger. Although, my daughter has worn a rainbow pair on her arms, just like the girl in the movie Bridge to Terabithia.

Thank you.

Gravatar My aunt recently revealed a deep, dark secret. She can not throw anything, and, as a result, she bestowed on me ALL of the late 1970's polyester clothing my mother dressed my sister and I in before handing them down to our younger cousin, her daughter. Much to my great joy, our 2.5 year old loves these clothes as much as I, so its been a flameable, polyester love fest for weeks around here, digging deeper into the bag each day for a new treasure. Man, that polyester -- it does not wear out. You'll have to have a soccer team worth of kids before that polyester suit wears out.

Gravatar Would I love some Babylegs...?
Of course.
So cool too the way you get to dress a little person, wish I could pull off her coolness.

Gravatar I'm feeling lucky, please put me into you babylegs lotto.

Gravatar Is it too late to enter the Babylegs raffle? I've been searching for that pattern to adorn our soon-to-be-born baby girl's legs. Our email is tragicallyordinary at gmail dot com.

Gravatar OOoOoOOoOoh..... I would LOVE a pair of babylegs -- I've just become the godmother of the sweetest little girl and I'd love to have a pair for her! Her mother and I grew up in Detroit... and (this is NOT an attempt to suck up) your stories & photos have given me a new found respect for my hometown. It's been nice seeing it through your eyes... so thanks bunches for that!
-- Brigitte

Gravatar Wow I am impressed that you could even attempt to squeeze her into that jumper. That was a well spent 99 cents. Oh and I would love to be in the running for free babylegs.

Gravatar Babylegs for free?
Laugh out loud ancedotes too?
Its Sweet Juniper!

Count me in with my Haiku submission.

Gravatar Can we get in on the lottery? I hear they're great for potty training. Can they help with the problem when the kid learns how to take her clothes off but can't (or won't) put them back on again? And it's freezing and you have to leave the house in 5 minutes?

Gravatar I have nothing witty to say. My child(s) could never look as sweet as juniper, instead they are true urchins in hand-me-downs.

But, i think you and wood and juniper are super awesome and deserve every little baby leg you have.

Gravatar I am from Chico and shopped at that Salvation Army regularly.....total score....

Now I am homesick....

Gravatar please, lord, won't you buy us some cute babylegs. my friends all have stockings. i must make amends.
(they sure would look cute on a lil toddler I know.)

Gravatar Ooooh, put my name in the basket for the baby legs. My little girl love 'em and digs the thrift store, too. She rifles through the piles of stuffed animals and dresses them in baby clothes from the "$2-a-bag" bin. Yesterday, an eyeless Bob the Builder ended up in a pink gingham sundress. We left him that way.

Gravatar babylegs = awesome!
please put me in the drawing

Gravatar ooh, I'll wear them on my postpartum arms until rookie baby girl joins us in the cold Bay Area summer this july. Brrrr.

Viva la jumpersuit!

Gravatar Deb, the Chico Salvation Army is one of the finest institutions I have ever had the privilege of visiting.

Gravatar I would LOVE some!

Not to wear personally - I somehow doubt they're adult size ... but for my kids.

I'll be hoping today is randomly-pick-me day.

Thanks for sharing!

Gravatar I am just in love with the picture you took of her in that jumper and the baby legs. I don't know if my youngest would tolerate those, but throw me in. Thanks for the business too...someone said they came from your blog to buy some of my onesies! I appreciate it.

Gravatar I love reading your blog- and knowing that my own little girl is going to be just as active as yours! I just hope she is content to let me choose her clothes, since I love doing that right now! Please enter us in the drawing for the babylegs....

Gravatar Our daughter, Mary Claire, would LOVE some baby legs! Thanks for sharing with us! Juniper looks great in her jumpersuit.

Gravatar I would love babylegs!!! Dear lord I hope I win!

Gravatar Holy crap, how can you hear over the comment-squealing?

I'm totally squealing too.

Babyleg me, Baby!

(Oh, and I feel it's my duty to tell you that the Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse - a great art deco building on Columbia Pike that serves beer and bowling alley pizza - is showing The Big Lebowski this Friday. Wanna come? My treat (and you know how big a deal that is, coming from a fellow Dutchman).

Gravatar I would love some babylegs!

read your site every week. thanks for making me smile, and my ovaries scream. hah.

Gravatar Dutch,

Definitely count me in on this one. Our little girl is almost Baby Legs age.

Scott

Gravatar baby legs? yes please! i have been giving them to every woman in my office who is having a baby (thanks to your site!) but have yet to get a pair for myself!

Gravatar Babylegs to be given away by Dutch?!?
My skinny Minnie would love them so much
To cover her chunky kickers;
(If we lose, we'll have to use stickers.)
But what about the true splendor
Of the jumpersuit a-la-Bavarian-hot-dog-vendor?
Willst thou not share the hipster joy
Of dressing our puddin’ like a bright toy?
Please, sir, don’t make us beg
For these groovy warmers of leg
What would the poor street urchins say
If you didn’t make my li’l tramp’s day?
Okay, I’ll stop. Babylegs, if you please.

Gravatar Another entry in the superfantastic babylegs drawing!

Contrary to some opinions above, we have 2 boys and use babylegs for both the toddler and the infant! They are great for an extra layer in a Minnesota winter (just got more snow and it was 17F this morning on April 5th). I'm particularly fond of the stripey ones!

Gravatar okay, poetry like that gets you multiple raffle tickets.

Gravatar Count me in. Baby girl due in 90 days.

Gravatar Man, how did you write that whole post without one mention of Punky Brewster?

I don't know that my boys could pull off the babylegs look.

Gravatar boys who are comfortable with their sexuality can.

Gravatar It's a nice thing you are giving out those funky Babylegs. I'd love to have some too! Thank you for your well-written and entertaining blog, and send a big hug to beautiful Juniper.

Gravatar I'm in!

Gravatar Our Abby loves babylegs. We're in!

Gravatar My baby's legs need more babylegs! We're in!

Gravatar Great way to get us lurkers out in the open.
Mine's just over a week old and I want to get him started on the Babylegs right away.

Gravatar I don't have a baby so don't enter me into the raffle because that would just be mean to all the people with actual babies... but I just wanted to say that I LOVE Juniper's pigtails. they are so long and perky. ok, back to babylegs raffle.

Gravatar Ooohh, I have a niece who could use a little babylegs in her wardrobe! Now if only we could find a matching jumper...

Gravatar Its a cold, cold day today - and little Alex would love the extra warmth. Sign me up!

Gravatar I would love some babylegs!

and i keep scrolling back up to look at the pic w/ the pigtails...awesome color composition

Gravatar I've got some chubby baby legs that would love some babylegs.

Gravatar ah yes, we loved our baby legs to death. they were a great way to help clothes fit just a little longer during the growth spurts. we would love to have some more! ps- had to order another of the books you ordered for all the cousins since we loved it so much.

Gravatar I have been reading for a long time, but this post is enough to pull me out of lurkdom. Please sign me up for the drawing for babylegs!

P.S. I often share anecdotes I've gleaned from your site with my husband. He knows you as "Cheap Lawyer who was Told to Get a Haircut." He has always preferred Salvation Army to Goodwill for the price.

Gravatar Kaitlyn would love a pair! Please pick us - it seems that our Canadian winter doesn't want to let us go! There is a blanket of snow that shouldn't be here in April!

Gravatar I'm pregnant and expecting a girl -- she'd be a lucky baby if her FIRST item of clothing was a pair of babylegs won from Sweet Juniper!

Gravatar Yes, you totally need another kid to carry on the tradition. We love our "leggy legs" around here.

Gravatar Reading your blog is taking vitamines everyday! thank you for the post and phots of juniper. It would be wonderful to have juniper's style babylegs.

princesscactus@yahoo.com

Gravatar I make my daughter wannabe babylegs by cutting off the feet of adult knee socks. This works pretty well, but a real pair would be awesome!

Gravatar reading your blog is taking vitamines everyday. I would love to have juniper style babylegs.

princesscactus@yahoo.com

Gravatar i do indeed love the jumper, especially since it reminds me of mario brothers.
and also like of a doll i used to play with.

i don't have any little girls to dress in babylegs -- or boys for that matter, but i sincerely enjoy reading your blog. being comment #123 makes it seem less original, but at this point it's like voting -- every person counts, at least to contribute to the whole and create a larger number so the president-hopeful feels neat about himself.

Gravatar our little munchkin would love a pair of babylegs...

Gravatar We have a little boy who would be more than comfortable in baby legs. Please add me to the raffle.

I'm surprisingly sad that the blue jumper is about to be retired. I guess Wood is right. Time for another!

Gravatar That is the most rockin'est picture of Juniper ever!

You never know, she may love you for dressing her like this--you may have another Betsey Johnson on your hands.

Gravatar wow. of course i'd love some babylegs... lets see if i have any luck though!!

Gravatar My two boys won't wear "babylegs" but I had to comment on how absolutely adorable Juniper is wearing them. She's lucky to have a dad who is so creative in picking out her clothes!

Gravatar ps.... i love that jumper on her! precious!

Gravatar I love the blue jumper, "Junipersuit." I have beautiful fabric in a brilliant green from which that I'd love to make a little Jumpersuit for my own munchkin. I like to wing it with the sewing machine and see what I come up with. The yellow edging is a perfect touch and I hope to do something similar! Crazylegs would, of course, be the ultimate companion so please drop me into your raffle.

Happy Jumpsuiting,
Betsy

Gravatar baby legs! baby legs!

Gravatar OOH! I would love some BabyLegs! I am pregnant with my first --- a boy --- due in August. I have been drooling over the BabyLegs!

Gravatar sign me up for the babylegs raffle!

Gravatar ME ME ME!!! My 12month old has some mean lookin callouses on her knees!!

Gravatar I still have at least another year of dressing Willa as I please, and I'd like to try some babylegs. Her 1st birthday is tomorrow. If we lived in Detroit and not Grand Rapids I'd totally try to bribe your completely random system by bring you some birthday cake!

Gravatar Daaaamn, I go out of town for two days and you're giving things away! I would love me some babylegs !

Gravatar babyleg me!

I've been meaning to knit some but who has time for that?

Gravatar I would like a pair for my niece.

Gravatar oh baby (legs!)
i was just going to ask where those came from, when i got to the end of your post. pick me and i'll send free Yoga classes in exchange...

Gravatar Stripes abound on legs
Kept snugly warm on spring days.
Girl smiles, beaming.

Gravatar Great way to get the lurkers to delurk. We'd love us some babylegs goodness over here in Ann Arbor.

Gravatar My little Phoebe would looooove some babylegs.I really enjoy this blog. Thanks-M

Gravatar As a fellow midwesterner, my daughter would get great use out of a pair of Baby Legs (and I would get great amusement as I have always admired Juniper's). According to the nightly news, spring won't spring here until summer is due! Aren't you glad you moved?! Thanks! Lily's Mom

Gravatar Gosh, I wish I could whip out a limerick right now about babylegs and their splendor. Oh well, I just need to get my name in for the raffle too! The thought of Sweet Juney's babyleg style makes me giddy. Thanks!

Gravatar Pick me, pick me!

Gravatar I'd like some babylegs! Pick me!

Gravatar Babylegs are my baby's favorite things. We have a couple of pair, but my husband put them through the dryer, and the're just not the same...
Somehow I can never manage to get my kiddo looking as effortlessly vintage-wonderful as your Juniper, but we can try!
Please enter me in your drawing.
Thanks!

Gravatar would love some baby legs. LOVE.

Gravatar Baby’s got cold legs
Way up here in the maine – land
Boy, a pair would rock.

Gravatar Ohh please pick me those are adorable!

Gravatar And to think that all this time I assumed you got the babylegs attire at the thrift store with the jumpersuit!
Count me in for the raffle, please. My daughter's wardrobe will never be as cool as Juniper's, but we try to catch up here.

Gravatar Oh, I want some babylegs. Especially some that look so cool and stripey.

Gravatar we want juneylegs!!
damn, you're good at hair-doing, dutch.

Gravatar We're avid babylegs wearers here in Mass.! I just wish they made them big enough for me. Hmmm, I guess they call those legs warmers, but I must admit I have thighs better suited for babylegs. Love this blog. I have three kids and sometimes forget how I got here. Your perspective is a gentle reminder of the beauty and magic that only a little one can bring to life!

Gravatar Ha! I think I have a story for you. I spent MONTHS and MONTHS searching for the babylegs I kept seeing Juniper wear in her photo ops. I scoured the internet, local moms groups, begged babylegs.net to stock the old style again to no avail and then, after months of searching, I finally found them – IN AUSTRALIA! eBay, what would we do without it? Long live the Orange Multi-stripe! I would love more babylegs if you're up to giving up a pair

Gravatar love the idea of #2 wearing the blue jumper home from the hospital, can't wait to see the pictures.
i love the whole the babylegs look, count me in. it's still could here in detroit!

Gravatar holy crap - when you put something out there for free - look at how many people show up on your doorstep!

Count us in

Gravatar Put my name in the random hat, too, please.

Gravatar Oh my HOLY, the people want the Babylegs!! I have a boy, and he's too old, so I'm just commenting to say how sad I am to see the jumpsuit go. It's one of the cutest outfit-making pieces of clothing ever. I think Wood totally has a point.

Gravatar That jumpersuit always makes me think of the final show in A Mighty Wind. You know, the big 'family' group?

I'd take the babylegs but would them fit my massive male infant? I have seen some real pint-sized-rakes carry them off so I think my Mr little big guy could.

and, in the crook of your arm???? she may be growing but she is still the epitome of petite at more than 2 and IN THE CROOK of your arm unless you have some mega-crook (could be?).

Gravatar i have a juniper sized one of my own..and i think your taste in clothes, friend..is pure money.

hat's off, and i'm in.

girlplustwo@yahoo.com

Gravatar Don't think you'd send me a pair all the way in Malaysia but no harm in trying. Feel sorry for me... we can't get no Babylegs here...

Gravatar Dressed like that, she really fits in with the graffiti. Love that picture!

Gravatar My baby's an infant just yet, but I LOVE dem Babylegs! I'm sad that you guys moved away from SF before I ever got the chance to meet you. Thought about checking out your garage sale a while back, but life was crazy at that point - working 2 jobs in preparation for the arrival of my little Zoe. I love your blog, and the way you dress Juniper is FABulous!

Gravatar I'm not entering...
I just want to say whoa, #2?

???

Gravatar dude, i don't want to break your heart, but you should not count on having 10 more years of a sartorially compliant daughter. if memory serves, i had very definite opinions about clothes by the time i was 8, and i absolutely refused to embark on the 6th grade without a pair of jordache.

i cherish every day i am able to put my girl in a hat that makes her look like an adorable woodland creature, because i know these days are numbered.

speaking of my little girl, she would look great in some striped baby legs.

Gravatar yeah, I wouldn't dare to expect ten years of dressing her this way. I expect it will be ten years before she HATES me for dressing her this way at this age. sorry I didn't make that more clear.

Gravatar It may be too late but my 21 month old Lucia in Illinois would love some Baby Legs. I've been reading your praise and haven't tried them yet, but they look so fun. Mostly Lucia wears Old Navy jeans everyday.

Gravatar ooh, did i miss the draw? How about some babylegs for London Juniper? She rolled over for the first time today and i reckon she should get a reward!!

x Nicky (& Izzy, Cedar and Juni)

Gravatar ah, i see. thanks for the clarification.

i think you are correct to expect a time when she is mortified by the bavarian disco baby outfit, much as i cringed and considered calling social services whenever i saw photos of toddler me wearing a peasant blouse and elastic-waist pants made by my mom in a variety of calicos and double knits -- same pattern, over and over, different fabrics. but eventually i grew to find these outfits funny and then admirable, even. i do not doubt that juniper will grow into appreciating the awesomeness of the blue jumpersuit when she grows out of adolescent awkwardness.

i think that the preceding is the most i've ever presumed to offer a psychological forecast of a child i have never met -- except for, you know, when i'm watching Nanny 911.

Gravatar I know this is going to sound creepy, but I definitely think I saw you at law school the other day. In fact, it was this very outfit that made you so memorable...as a child I was OBSESSED with Rainbow Brite, and as I walked into school I thought how much I would have loved to wear that outfit when I was two.

So if it wasn't you, there's someone else in Michigan with very similar toddler-fashion sense. You guys should probably hang out.

Gravatar Love the blog, am obsessed with Babylegs--is it too late to enter the raffle?
I bought your alphabet book, so I totally deserve to enter the raffle. : )

Gravatar Your blog is a treat, your girl delicious and your photos too. Please include us in your raffle. My Tanaquil is 2, loves babylegs, bright colors and true fashion too.

Gravatar Hi Dutch,
I'm assuming you already picked the Babylegs winners, but could you just post to say that you did so I stop hoping and checking my email that I could still be a winner?
And I didn't realize how much I wanted to try those babylegs on Julia until your raffle - guess I'll just go to their website and buy some.

Gravatar babylegs! that's enough to de-lurk for, man!

Gravatar Ok, I'm WAY late to the party but I LOVE those babylegs. So here's what I'm wondering... how to dress my son in them? I'll need to think about this... I already dress him tie-dye and leopard print. Stripey tights to the mix would be FANtastic in my opinion.
