i saw the link on apartment therapy and love your photos. i know some moms who would totally appreciate your urban take on the kiddie alphabet. i'm probably going to sound dumb, but what does H stand for?

you should definetly check out wendy ewald's book: an american alphabet. it's divided into 4 sections- an arabic alphabet, an african american alphabet, a spanish alphabet, and a white girl's alphabet. it's all done w/ photography and the words and photos were done by middle school/high school kids. it's amazing & it's inspired me to make a similar book in my 2nd grade (urban) classroom.
