Gravatar "Why must the man at the feed store insist on carrying all three bags of seed when I am perfectly capable of carrying at the very least one?"

Because nice guys like to be helpful and chivalrous. Don't deprive them of their chance.

Gravatar oh cool, those foxes are really sweet!

Gravatar Yes, I am in complete agreement with allowing men to be helpful and chivalrous. However, when the one bag is close to falling out of his hand, would it not make sense to give me one to hold?

Gravatar Chivalry is not dead and I'm glad. Male egos don't always recognize the practical when a woman is around. The older I get the more I appreciate that. When the bag does fall, then you can carry it. Until then, keep smiling and appreciating his strength!

Now, the t-shirt story is funny. How weird that you would have just the shirt he lost. Hope it makes him very happy to have a replacement. On the mice note... Eeewww! The fox are cute, the mice, not so much. I have no appreciation for mice, dead or alive. I prefer dead, though.

Glad your family is back and the busy-ness is pleasing to you!

Now, clean up your room and make your bed!

Gravatar I was about to ask about the bag of mice, but then I finished reading...
I loved the story about having the shirt bought off your back. I have 3 shirts that every time I wear some random stranger stops me to comment on how much they like my shirt and asks where they could get one like it. They're often disappointed when I tell them where they came from, but no one has ever offered to buy one of them from me (not that I'd sell either way).
