Basically, for Ron Paul to have any further impact, McCain must fail to have a majority of delegates vote for him at the National Convention. This will require Huckabee and Paul to start beating him in the rest of the Primaries and Caucuses.
I wish it would be true, but I'm somewhat discouraged about its possibility.

If I were Ron Paul, I'd make McCain beg for the delegates. Assuming McCain needed, them, that is.
Basically, I want to see the R's AND D's go through the brokered-convention spanking line. Really gum up the works. A good old-fashioned pie fight, of sorts.

Looks like Ron Paul supporters are now switching over to Libertarian frontrunner Wayne Root. The LP could have it's best year ever with Root. He's the most attractive LP candidate since Ed Clark in 1980.
So all is not yet lost.

Root was a guest on one of our local AM chat shows, and I'm going to see about getting him on our Blogtalk show as well.
I like the guy, but I'm still glad Paul is in the mix.
