I say spill it--but that's easy for me to say because I don't know you from anybody. I just enjoy stopping by to read your blog and now I'm insanely curious.

I triple that. Spill it. It's amazingly cathartic and you have developed a loyal friend base that will certainly support you through thick and thin.
There are definitely some things I don't blog, but a lot of them I would blog if I could password protect them and share with my trusted blog friends only. Soon I should be able to.
Most of my taboo things are work things- that I am not sure if I am allowed to write about, or things that might make strangers that happen upon my blog feel the need to judge me- I get sick of that.
As someone who knows your secret, it will be out eventually, so you may as well tell everyone, but it is up to you, of course.
I only put limits on myself when I write about other people in my life. I try not to write anything that would embarass me or them if they were to stumble across my blog.
I think writing is very theraputic. You should write it out, even if you decide not to post it later.
Go for it. Avoid real names, but go for it. Sometimes you just have to get things off your chest.
But the person saying that rarely follows her own advice.
I think you know what is alright to put out there. What you are comfortable with others knowing. You know the real people or readers that matter won't judge and those who dont doesnt matter.

I spill most everything... except for details about my job, etc.
Oh definitely. You know I write sometimes about dates, but I do sometimes wonder if I'll regret it (just because family and friends read). What if I say something negative about a guy I end up with?! (But guy stuff is so fun to write about!) Also, some friends that read it - well, we aren't that close anymore, so I'm not sure how much I want them to know. I go back and forth between wishing I'd given the address to people I know and liking that everyone can keep up with me here.
