Gravatar Um, no, thank god. The most I've ever found is a ladybug or spider.

Gravatar Um yeah, no, I've never seen anything like this in my bathroom. Holy cow.

We did have a crab in our bathroom sink on a vacation to Mexico. But dude, it was vacation, so it was cool.

Gravatar Lol My friend Greg is deathly afraid of frogs...oh and tampons. So we always tease him by telling him we are going to strap a tampon on a frog and give it to him for his birthday.
I can imagine waking up and seeing that on your toilet would sufficiently freak you out. lol

Gravatar Aw, he's kind of cute!

Even so, I probably would've passed out from the shock. Good thinking with the shoe box!

Gravatar At least you didn't sit on him!!!

Gravatar That would have totally freaked me out! I am usually a fan of frogs, and will pick them up from outside, but on my potty?! EW! Never heard of that phenomenon!!

Gravatar The frog is not from the sewer. They like to hang out in the toilet vent pipes on the roof and sometimes they swim down through the vent tubes and end up in your bathroom.

When I lived in the Virgin Islands, one day I went in the bathroom and lifted the toilet lid. A frog just like yours jumped out at the same time and went splat onto the bathroom mirror right across from the toilet. Talk about nearly giving me heart failure!

I actually like frogs for the most part, but I agree they have no place in the bathroom. The frog you have there looks to be a Cuban treefrog, invaders that eat the native treefrogs and have been rapidly moving their way north since they invaded South Florida years ago. They used to poop all over the outside of my house like crazy but there haven't been as many of them around in the past couple of years. Now I know why- they moved to Tennessee!

When they were really bad around here, some people would have problems with their plumbing. The reason was that these frogs love to hang out in those toilet vent pipes and so many of them would cram themselves in there that the toilets couldn't vent properly. The solution is to install screen over the top of the pipes.
