C'mon... Get your jammies on!!!

Gravatar Oh lord...HIGH SCHOOL? I'm not there yet. My oldest is in 7th and that is hard enough. I keep thinking that the time is slipping by way to fast. What happened to my baby? And then her sister is in 3rd grade...and just moving right along. I think I'll nail both of their windows shut just for preventative measures.

Gravatar eh...it's just hair, and that looks like a wig anyway...is it? They mightnot let her into highschool with hair like that if it is real, I got suspended for dying my hair blue.

Gravatar God I hope that's a wig coz if it's not...... EEEeeeeeekkkkkk!!
It is a nice color though a bit much for HS I'd say
Great to see you back btw

Gravatar Moogie : Ha! It really is our only option, isn't it. Thanks for stopping by.

Leigh : Yup it is a wig. A wig that she wore constantly, that she insisted should be her real hair. She likes to torture me

Jemima's Tales : Eeeeeeek! was just about my response too. And thanks for your comments. It's nice to be back.

Gravatar lmao maybe worried would be good. lol We have talked about nailing our daughters windows shut before she hits teens lol

Gravatar That's very very pink! It could be worse..she could be asking for a tattoo...or has she?

Michele says hi

Gravatar No worries My kid dyed his hair with red Kool Aid in 9th grade. And then bleach blond. And then jet black. Wigs might have sped up the process a bit

Good thing about hair is that it can be cut and usually grows back

Gravatar tee, hee!

*giggle*

=chuckle=

{snicker}

she looks very cute!

not to worry... been there, done that!

Michele sent me over to put a smile on your face! :o)

Gravatar Better that than a shaved head. Oops, maybe I shouldn't have said that: don't want to give her any ideas!

Thanks for a delightful post, Annie. I feel for you: our eldest son is 12...I know that time's running out.

Gravatar Anne : It probably won't do any good. The sneaky gene kicks in when they reach their teens

Andrea : Oh no that hasn't happened yet! But it's probably next... along with the eyebrow piercing!

Thumper : Oh that was a great mental picture Thumper! Red Kool Aid. Thank you for that laugh

Karen : You have? You didn't give her the idea by any chance did you?

Carmi : Don't say that Carmi!! She reads this blog so if I find her bald-headed tomorrow I will coming for you! It does feel like time is running out doesn't it. Although I am eager to see the person she will become too. Can't have it both ways. Thank you as always, for your lovely comments.

Gravatar Wait till she leaves home for University. I used to have a little weep every time I went into my son's room.

Gravatar It
's not so much the hair and piercings that bother me... it's the tattoos. Ok, maybe that's a bit of a double standard, but at least i was over 18!!

Michele sent me,

mike

Gravatar NBD. Which stands for No Big Deal. My two high schoolers have had all sorts of colored hair, as have most of their friends. Where I live, it's not a bit unusual or even considered rebellious. I think she looks cute. It's quite the wig!

I don't know how your daughter will react to HS, but both of my kids are MUCH happier and healthier there than in middle school, which was a huge quagmire for the whole family. I'm totally in love with high school!

Gravatar Pat : Oh dear! I can't think that far ahead. Although down here, not many kids actually leave home to go to Uni. Perhaps by then I'll want her to though Thank you for your visit.

mr. althouse : I don't think she'll go for a tattoo. She's not big on pain at all. I'll just start telling her how excrutiating tattoos are and warp her mind on the subject! Thanks as always for your comments.

Margalit : You're right. I have to admit she does look very cute. She found out last night that I posted that pic and is quite enjoying the idea that her stylish self is floating around blogoland. Thank you so much for dropping by.

Gravatar man I would hate to be "her". It would be so embarrassing

Gravatar I kinda like it, now that I know it's just a wig!

Maybe I should be worried though....I've got a son of 13 and a daughter of 12 and I guess this'll be happening in our house soon! DD has a friend who has just turned Goth...eek! I'm just a little nervous...I'd so prefer the pink to the black!

Thanks for stopping by my place Annie! Hope you're doing much better now, seems like you've had quite a time. Take care.

Gravatar Sometimes they make a parent wanna run away from home huh?...lol

Not to worry though...my baby is 18 and finishing up high school this year and she went through a phase of this herself...thankfully it didn't last long.

Gravatar Looks perfectly normal to me!

Gravatar isobel : Hehe yes I was hoping you'd hate to be 'her'. Now... go to your room young lady

hidden willow : Goth? Hmm yes I'd have to agree and thankyou for your lovely comments.

happily anonymous : Ha! They ALWAYS make me want to run away from home! Even though my version of running would be more like a mad shuffle now Thanks so much for stopping by!

Leslie : It does kinda suit her... doesn't it. Maybe it's the rose tinted glasses that complete's the look. Or the 'don't you dare take my picture' look on her face!

Gravatar hehehe... next comes the black clothes, eyeliner and doc martins.... izzy i know just the shop... *cough* what?? what did i say????

Gravatar why do i have to go to my room?

Gravatar I want pink hair!

Gravatar Natski : Ha! *cough* indeed. You didn't mention tattoos though

isobel : Because you might get bad ideas from Miss Nat up there!

Michael Yates : I don't know about that. Would it suit you do you think? Thanks for stopping by.

Gravatar Love the hair... very few heads would even turn here in Los Angeles County.
