C'mon... Get your jammies on!!!

Gravatar Aww! Your kids sound sweet -- Oh to be that age again. Sounds like some good, quality fun!

Have a great weekend...

Gravatar I almost snorted coffee out of my nose then!!!! Thanks for a great laugh and glad you had your kids with you for your special day finally.

Gravatar What a great site -- I love love LOVE your monkeys! And you children sound pretty wonderful, too. Glad you had a great time with them.

Gravatar Tanya : Thank you so much! They are very sweet and very good at driving me nuts. Thank you for your visit. You have a good weekend also.

Hope : Ha! Maybe I should've included a disclaimer then eh? It was great to have them for the first time in so long. Thanks for your comments.

wordnerd : Wow! Thank you so much! How lovely of you to say so. I am fairly partial to the monkeys myself

Gravatar Awww..that was too cute!!!All of mine are in their 20's now, so I love reading the stories about the little ones! LOL

Gravatar Froot Loops eh? Your girls are sweethearts to be sure. As for smelling their farties.... hmmmm I wouldn't recommend it

Gravatar oh and remind me not to get you mad. Don't want my dangly bits BBQ'd either!!!

Gravatar ahahahahahahaha!
my sisters say that sort of thing ll the time but they do it intentionally!

michele sent me to say hello

Gravatar Sweet post. Glad you stopped by my blog.

Gravatar LOL!!! They sound like The Little Rascals. Hilarious!!

Here via michele, and I'm glad your visitation thing worked out for Mother's Day. I remember those days... not fondly.

Gravatar Ash : Mine may be in their 20's before I get to have them for Mother's Day again. Made me enjoy it all the more. Thank you for stopping by.

Dr. D : Ha! You needn't fear for your dangly bits.... just now anyway But I have to agree... they are sweethearts for sure. A pleasure as always.

Leigh : Oh I suspect mine were doing it intentionally too. They take great delight in driving me nuts. Thank you for your visit.

Karen : Oh it was my pleasure. Thank you for the return visit and your nice comment.

panthergirl : Little beasties might be more apt Thank you for your lovely comment. I'm hoping to have them again but am firing up the BBQ just in case!

Gravatar LOL, LOL, LOL...Very Funny! They are quick, aren't they? Ut's wonderful that you had the whole day with them...!

Here from Michele this early A.M.!

Gravatar LMAO what a great post! It's so wrong that you don't get your kids automatically on Mother's Day. I'm just so happy that you had such a nice day with them, especially with everything that's going on for you. I send prayers oh and I have a candidate for that BBQ too

Gravatar If only you COULD avoid smelling their farties! I wish.

My mother's day sucked. I'm still sulking about it. In fact, I told my son's therapist that he ruined Mother's Day. I felt like a tattle tale, but I really want to get to the bottom of WHY he has to ruin holidays.

Gravatar OOLOTH : Ha! Yes they are. TOO quick if you ask me Thank you so much for your comments and your visit in the wee hours

Erin : Awww that's so sweet of you! Thanks as always for your visit Erin. As for the BBQ... anyone I know

margalit : Oh that's such a shame. It sounds like something that really should be sorted out. I hope it is. Thank you for dropping by.

Gravatar Annie, it is wonderful that you got to spend Mother's Day with your girls! At leat your ex-husband is around to take the girls for visitation. My grandchildren have not seen their dad in over 3 years - and he has not even called them!

Gravatar That's horrible of him not to let them spend Mother's Day with you.

Love the monkeys on your blog! Very interesting!

Gravatar kenju : It was wonderful thank you! I know of quite a few kids who haven't heard from their dads. I guess they aren't inclined to fight for their kids. Maybe it's easier for them not to have them in their lives. No excuse though. Thank you for stopping by.

Gravatar Dana : Thank you! I am rather partial to them myself As for the other point. I agree. You would think I'd automatically get them on that day but alas no. Hopefully this year will set a precedent. Fingers crossed.

Gravatar You should be very proud that you're raising such good-hearted kids. I smiled all the way through your description of the breakfast they made for you. Precious.

I wish I could make the silliness with your ex go away. If it makes you feel any better, their gift to you speaks volumes about where they place you in the parental hierarchy. It's obvious that their world revolves around you, schedule-shenanigan-dad notwithstanding.

Loved the Smarties reference, BTW. I think it must be a commonwealth thing, because they're big here in Canada, too.

Gravatar Carmi : Thank you as always for your lovely comments Carmi. I have to agree, they are pretty brilliant kids. The silliness with the ex is just part of it. It's annoying but for the most part, taken with a grain of salt
