I've never understood the concept of paying for sex either. But count me in on wanting the stupid amounts of money!
Well, men always PAY for sex, just not always in cash. But that's not what we're really talking about.
I feel for his wife and kids (his kids go to school with the Oldest, btw). They're the ones who were most hurt by this, and in the end, they're the only ones whose business it is unless they find out it was our tax dollars that paid for it.
Generally true. But then again our illustrious governor ran on a platform of integrity. He seems lacking in that department.
Yeah, seriously, it's a personal problem. I mean, if vicodin addictions were considered as bad as sex addictions, would Rush have disappeared into no mans land? He has a personal problem, with a public job. He should be stepping down cause he did a lousy job, not cause he's a lousy lay.
Well, considering criminal charges might be pending and the fact that he ran on integrity and fighting crime, I'd say the guy was a bit of a hypocrite. That, and I think he was doing a lousy job.
I will NEVER understand this. YOu are right, his wife is stunning! I don't get men AT ALL! He has a woman like that choosing to marry him and giving up her career for him and then...WOW!
That poor woman and those girls of their's. And like you said, that amount of money is UNREAL. Why not just pay for a $20 hooker as many bloody times as you want and then use the rest of the money for the kids' college?? I hope his wife doesn't catch some nasty disease! ICK!

I'm not going to judge him on the extramarital sex cuz for all we know his wife cut him off years ago and/or had her own thing going on. But on his incredible hypocrisy and stupidity? Yep. Got some judgment going on there!
No matter how you feel about a law, if you're an elected official you shouldn't be breaking it. This is part of the reason why I don't like the idea of the Clintons back in the White House (his perjury) or Obama winning it (his druggie days).
Exactly it. If it was just a mistress, that would be one thing. This is totally different.
On a related note, the big uproar now is that the Republicans are screaming the soon to be new Governor is too liberal. After screaming for the current Governor to step down. They are never happy!
Yeah, total loser. I can't even imagine having 80.000, much less spending it on sex... which, by the way, is totally free with yourself and to my knowledge, not illegal.
If he'd have had a regular old mistress, he'd still be governor. And it probably would have cost him a lot less.
