Ugh, I'm tired just reading that. Math is not my forte... so, definitely, I'm already starting to yawn.
I've always been good at math. But what's the point of crunching the numbers if you don't know what they mean?
I remember as a kid taking a boat trip on the Rideau Canal (just off the St. Lawrence river) and going through the locks. It was groovy cool but I remember the water was very gross and dirty. It was fun though, locks have always fascinated me.
So Vince it's sounding to me like bikes are beginning to be like your guitars..... you want more, and better! 
Good luck with your studies, I know we'll be hearing from you less (our loss, and sadly so) but we'll be cheering you on. Have a great weekend!
Lately I've been thinking more about bikes than guitars, so I believe you're right. I have the musical gear I need any every new thing I get disappoints, but bikes, well, there's so many different ones for different riding conditions! I'm really hooked.
I'll still drop by occasionally. But this Accounting and Finance class is going to kick my ass I think.

I remember taking accounting as an alternative to advanced algebra in high school. I hate any kind of math, but I loved my accounting teacher and that made all the difference in the world for that class.

Weekend's great so far! However, tomorrow is my study day so that may change.
Ellen gets to be my "teacher" so I think I'll enjoy her tutoring me. 
So....... does Teacher Ellen give out gold stars or what? *snicker* Better be a good student or she may rap your knuckles with a ruler.
Or what. Much better than gold stars.
And sometimes being a bad student is more fun than being a good student.
Accrual and deferral. I was going to be an accountant at one time because I thought it was easy, then I realized, I HATE MATH!!! I don't think I can remember how to study! Let me just say, I am in awe.
It's not so bad. Especially on line since everything is really open book.
