The thing I like the most about it is that his perception of the war matches mine: I was against it at the beginning, but once we were committed and I saw the great things going on, I am in full support. He sees the things I see- we're re-building a nation for a generation of Iraqi's who will hopefully grow up in a terrorist-free society, who see police and military as friends and protectors instead of enemies and oppressors.
That is a great thing. A very great thing.
