Heh. That's a great post. "Sens".
Maybe it's not Bob Cole's fault but the team's fault for putting that on their third jerseys...

Someone needs to learn the difference between singular and plural.

So were looking at just over 14 hours until Heatly gets his $4M payout. That should hold him over until the trade deadline in '10. Seeing as he won't be playing hockey anywhere until then, he should avoid Sundin's mistake and start getting in shape early.

If she didn't have the name of the team wrong, I would have thought that was an Ottawa accent.

Spector has an interesting idea, except that Spector does not realize that Ottawa is now jammed full of defensemen and absent of offense.
That does permit some trades, though. Were this to happen, I'd expect Ottawa to be quite active in following such a trade.

The doe-eyed "look at teh sparkleeee lights" look on her face made me curious if she was a missisauga house wife.

Many have provided lists of free agents to show that teams won't have to trade to get a goal scorer.
But I think Hossa wants to stay in Detroit (a perennial contender), and Havlat is sincere about wanting to stay in Chicago (an up-and-coming team with big upside potential in the years to come). Guerin is off the market (not that he was very valuable anyway), and unless the Sedins are willing to play on separate teams, their combined salary likely puts them out of reach of most teams (I'm guessing they want $6M+ each). Gaborik seems to average about 20-25 healthy games per year (in the rest he's either getting injured or still recovering and isn't at 100%), not to mention he turned down that $9M per year offer from Minnesota.
The only guy I really like among the free agent forwards is Cammaleri, and I hope Murray goes after him. Even if that temporarily puts the team in cap trouble, they can get back under by trading/suspending Heatley. With a 35+ goal scorer on board, it becomes easier to trade Heatley for futures rather than current roster players.
I suspect there will be plenty of teams lacking offence come July 1 who will have the cap room to bring Heatley in. And anybody who loses out on the free agent forwards will have to decide "do I want to trade with Philly for Briere or with Ottawa for Heatley". As bad a rap as Heatley is getting now, I suspect he'll be more attractive than Briere at their respective salaries...

Elsewhere on that page (around the video):
"Sens.tv Online"
"Sens Summer Vacation"
"Sens Army"
"You're watching Sens Summer Vacation"
If it's a problem, I think maybe it goes a bit deeper than Bob Cole.

Sens itself if fine. 'The Ottawa Sens' drives me nuts.

Okay, that makes sense. Presumably even moreso when in the context of "an Ottawa Sens"
