And where is the outrage that Burke used 2145kg of CO2 - green house gas emitting nastiness - to congratulate the Sedins on their new contracts! A phone call or flowers would have sufficed.

I get this bloggers post. The media and some Ottawa fans have blown it out of proportion. But think about it. If a team member from my team is unhappy, I'll replace him because he has the potential to disrupt the rest of my team AT ANY TIME. I can't trust someone like that. I think Murray should do the same. Loyalty pays.

I think its possible Heatley remains in Ottawa this year, but I think its not in his interest or the team's if that happens.
As for Milks post, the only way his analysis would make sense is if I'd been living in a cardboard box under the freeway and only had a vague idea of all that's transpired the last month. He totally ignores (or distorts) most of the facts and context to reach his conclusions.

Ottawa will hate him and then he'll score two goals against Toronto the start the season and they'll love him again. (Note: they'll both be on the powerplay and Ottawa will lose 4-2, with all 4 Leaf goals scored by Nazem Kadri.)

His post is a pretty weak argument. Comparing Campoli to Heatley? Very different circumstances.
Heatley to those other bums? Again, very different contracts, different circumstances, different histories.
Ron Hextall's comments, along with Pierre LeBrun's article for sportsnet settle the matter for me: He could be back, but he needs to fire JP Barry as his agent to make good with the Sens. He should do this anyway, as he's now royally screwed.
