Lets hope that's about to change for Toronto fans.
Also, because Toronto are ranked so low, I just have to find at least a few faults with the list.
First off, what time span is this covering? The Tampa Bay Rays are ranked 16th, so I assume this goes back a whole year?
Secondly, I noticed ticket prices are 1/8th of the grade, so teams with low prices get high marks? Add that another 1/8th of the grade is a wins to ticket price ratio, so since it's only counting last season, no wonder the Leafs are that low.
The columbus blue jackets are 30th. One season in the playoffs and dirt cheap tickets.
This is some excellent science you stumbled upon Don! I appreciate the effort though and it beats talking about Heatley!

Also, new EKLUND rumour has Kaberle and prospect going to Vancouver for Cory Schneider and a 2nd round pick.
If Gustavsson doesn't sign I would take that deal. Also keep in mind Toskala is in the last year of his contract, so Burke is definitely thinking goaltending. This rumour might not be that far off...

One more rumour from sporsnet this time:
Mikael Samuelsson is leaving Detroit and heading to one of the six Canadian teams. Could Murray be pulling off his first acquisition of the UFA season?

It also says Ottawa has the cheapest beer.
The best deal is at some of the stands you can get Creemore at the same price as Coors Light / Canadian.

Creemore is a damn fine beer. That's a pretty sweet deal.
I would rather drink old fish tank water than Canadian though. Coors light goes well with a side of Clamato dumped in.
I'm suddenly thirsty.

Wow. Never thought OTT to be up at number one. Expected Calgary to take the number one spot. But more surprisingly, I didn't expect such a big divide between OTT and TOR. Note the legacy cities are at the bottom of the pack. Interesting.

Really expensive tickets, bad results, prickly coaches and management towards the media, fucked up ownership.
Yep, seems like SOME teams have been around so long they've forgotten how to treat their fans and city.
This I will admit, and no "Leaf Nation" ad will change that, only Brian Burke.

Kaberle plus a prospect for a goalie prospect and 2nd pick? That seems like a terrible deal. Goalies are notoriously risky, and most 2nd round picks never play in the NHL.
Kaberle is an elite D-man on a below-market contract. That's worth its weight in gold in today's NHL.

Sens fans, I went to Development Camp again today with the intention of seeing the 3-3 tournament. Got there about 15 minutes before it was supposed to start and there was a practice going on. They were using three of the rinks -- one for goalies, one for puck-handling drills, and one for skating drills.
Never did see a 3-3, but did see lots more skating drills. Oh well, at least it wasn't a wasted trip out.
Can anyone honestly say that Wiercioch, right now, could not do as good a job or better than one of Lee, Picard, Campoli, Bell? Third time I've seen him, and each time he stood out.
I love Lehner's work ethic. After they did the skating/shooting drills for a while they had all the guys do a couple of quick laps. He was the only goalie who had his head down, skating as hard as he could. Volkening was OK, but the Rowat was barely even trying. This wasn't a conditioning problem, he wasn't even trying.
At one point near the end they were all doing push ups. Bass skated over to Karlsson and leaned on him with his stick as the poor kid was trying to do pushups. I take it Bass is a bit of a character. After he was done, Karlsson just rolled over barely able to sit up. Other than that though, I barely noticed Karlsson, and I was keeping an eye out for him.
I think I noticed a name that I hadn't seen before. But I can't recall the name. Is it possible that someone arrived late, didn't make the first day's session?
I can't say I was all that impressed with Petersson. After reading what Murray had to say I tried checking him out whenever I could, but nothing really stood out. I guess everyone can have up/down days.
Not really a great report today. I think I am a little upset at not seeing 3 on 3 action. Other than Lehner and Wiercioch, no one impressed me.
Check that, Regin, Bass and O'Brien always look great, but you knew that!
Have a great weekend Sens fans!

When you have less fans it's easy to call them up and ask them how their weekend went.
