From a layman/civilian's perspective this seems to put everything out there in understandable and balanced fashion. And it's still terrifying to know not only what it may still become, but also what it could have been like today had circumstances brought us out too soon or seen a less-strident resolve.
I pray that one day history will show a deeper respect for what has been accomplished and how freedom was not a "mission accomplished" banner but rather countless emptied purple ink bottles.
Perhaps we could send some of those to Minnesota.
