Actually if you head to Tesco it'll be easier as they have precalculated it for you already.
Cold Storage cos I was in the area. Would not be worth the extra few dollars driving to a Tesco.
Opportunity cost is incurred with the additional time needed as well, time I could spend on finishing more work.

Shopping at Cold Storage aint exactly stretching your dolllar, it's more expensive than the other supermarkets.
Another reason why I like tesco, they show price per 100ml or per 100g on different sized items so you can see which is the best value per quantity.
And if you see a really good free/extra offer on your favourite non-expiring goods buy a shit load of it. It'll save you a bunch in the long run.
Yeah, but I was in the area, so driving off somewhere else might not exactly save me alot. Jusco near my place isn't cheap also.
About buying shit load of stuffs might work for us; but for people with less disposable income, they might find it difficult.

Have done quantitative studies about the differences between V Power and Super. V-Power gives you about 19% economy gains (volume / distance) for larger vehicles. Doesn't seem to work for smaller vehicles.
I don't think all item in Cold Storage is more expensive than Tesco. One should look at the advertisement on Sunday Star last Sunday lol. Stretching the ringgit rocks!
Well, frankly speaking I would agree that on a general whole, Cold Storage is more expensive. I bet they just singled out items that were lower priced than Tesco.
