yeah unless you know the mechanic and you regularly go to him right, when he sees that you are young or not very flashy looking and only driving an old car, they won't really bother giving you good service and just cincai bocai, i.e. discriminatory services.
Well, the boss was very nice. Drives an MK 2 Golf GTI Cabrio, nicely polished with bigass BBS rims.
And apparently those discriminatory services happen to everyone whose rims are stock.

Yeah its damn nice. Saw some details on the car, i.e. the windscreen wiper mounts, there are 4 of them to save on metal pressing costs (2 for LHD, 2 for RHD; wipers swish different directions)
