Comments on Blowing & Drifting

So here's a strange series of connections:

I was looking at a pair of sunglasses called Briko Bats at a website I often visit, and I did a quick google image search for the sunglasses and by chance came across a post of yours about some old and pretty sweet-looking Briko goggles you found on eBay. Out of curiosity, I wanted to see whose blog it was, so I went to the main page and saw that you were the other person who skied in the Upper Arb yesterday. I also went out while it was snowing yesterday and I saw only one other set of tracks on the course. Also I see you're planning on coming to the CCCR tomorrow; I'll be setting up the course beforehand and I think I'll be competing as well. See you there!

Gravatar Weeeeird, Peter! The internet is a strange and wonderful place. I loved those Brikos, but alas, I lost them on a bike ride home. They would be mighty useful tomorrow in the blowing snow. See you there!

Gravatar A fellow lover of winter! Cheers to you and good luck in the race! There's nothing as quietly wonderful as a hike or ski in newly fallen snow under the light of that bright winter moon.
