Comments on Blowing & Drifting

That's crazy. I interpreted it to be a much more permanent sign/situation. Call it "small town America". While I have no qualms about the neighborhood we live in I certainly would about leaving a door open and announcing it to the world.

It's always unnerving getting a premeditated message from a stranger you've never met before. I think you qualify as an unpaid servant/helper/dog wrangler for these people (and Buck). Thanks for the puzzling story.

Gravatar I bet Dean is right. I bet the sign is ALWAYS there, and letting the dog run wild is a normal thing in that household.

Gravatar That's my bet too. My parents dog would do that all the time, especially if there was a thunderstorm and they weren't home. Once he ended up in a neighbor's bedroom in the dead of night and scared the pj's off them. All they heard was the door opening and continuous heavy breathing. Thankfully they loved that dog AND my parents and didn't sue for emotional suffering.

Gravatar PS - I've applied for the opening in the Math and C.Sci department. Any and all suggestions will be warmly received.

Gravatar I am laughing SO HARD right now about MNMom's story above about the neighbor's dog sneaking into the bedroom in the middle of the night. Zoinks! Heart attack.

Gravatar Luckily those folks were just off-kilter enough to find it funny.
