Christopher: Great photos. We see turtles trying to cross Jefferson Parkway to get from one set of ponds to the other every spring. They often need a little assistance. If you're lucky, your girls may see Yertle laying her eggs later.
This was such a fun little adventure for the girls--oh, the enthralled squealing! A nature lesson in action!
We have those same lessons in our neighborhood with ducks and toads.
