That's too funny!! When twin #1 was just a baby she would cry if any man entered the room, except for her Daddy or my Dad.
It was great meeting you this morning.

Yes, this is that age, isn't it?
This post reminded me of when Baxter was Vivi's age. We took him to the Bay Area Discovery Museum, where there was a great Arthur exhibit. Floating above one of the buildings was a HUGE balloon likness of Arthur himself. Little Baxter was SO petrified that I had to carry him, crying, past the balloon to go into the museum. For the next six months, his word for "scary" was "Sarsur", which is how he said "Arthur".
He was very fearful of birds for a couple of years (now that's a damn inconvenient fear!), and every time he saw a bird overheard at that age he'd yell, "Sarsur!!"
I hope she gets over her fear of, erm, rope soon!

Thanks for the funny comments. Jordan, I'm going to start using the label "sarsur" for everything that Vivi fears.

You HAVE to admit, the face on that mid-electrocution figure is pretty scary! Look closely! Scary, and yet funny. ;)

It's true - the face on the guy is pretty scary, too - I put a detail on Flickr.
