Not only had she never tried the word "monkey" before, but I don't think she'd uttered a 3-word sentence before, either--and certainly not to make a "joke"! So funny.
I think I told you this one, but our youngest used to say "reetz" which meant "stop that" or "get away". We never figured out the connection, but she got her message across. Be sure to write all these words down somewhere - they are priceless gems, each and every one.
