We take walks like that pretty much every weekday, and for me, the slower (i.e. the more daylight hours burned) the better. It's GOOD to use up as much time as possible! THAT IS THE WHOLE INTENT. Anything that keeps them occupied, man!

Yeah, but the morning hours need to be spent with the girls in one way or another; who cares if it takes 90 minutes to walk around the block or if it takes only 30 and the other 60 are spent, say, finger-painting and building with blocks?

I'm with Shan, as only another SAHM could be. If we are outside, they can't seriously mess up the INSIDE.
